I recently had the pleasure of flying out to NYC for a little bit of Go-Kid work and play.

First off, thanks to my man Beef for the invite to not only the Prohibit party, but the Fool’s Gold Christmas party as well.

Secondly, thank you Mother Nature for getting me in Manhattan in nothing more then an emo Flannel in the middle of a blizzard.

Maybe next time I’ll check the local weather before I fly.

adidias Originals has decided to “strap” up for 2010 with their new Highrise sneaker. Available in the Spring of 2010 in the colors red, black and later in the year in white and grey, the Highrise go for the less is more approach with the perforated side paneling to show the traditional 3 stripes we’ve all come to recognize adidas by. Sporting the rarely seen yet stylish heel strap along with the ankle strap, you wont have to wait long to get a pair. The Highrise are available for pre-order now.

New Music Tuesdays

Always willing to share what’s on the GO*KID*GO office playlist, here is one of our favorites. Although the song has been out for a few months, we hit you with the just released video from Mike Posner and the song “Drug Dealer Girl”. The song is a banger, but the added touch of Rosa Acosta doesn’t hurt the visuals in this one either. Trust me. We first got word of him early this year when we we’re laced with a CD with a few of Mike’s song on it and we been fans ever since. Also be on the look out for GO*KID*GO projects from “Flash Thompson” and “The Claim Jumpers” coming in early 2010. Stay tuned.

mita sneakers x Reebok EX-O-FIT HI S.G. Strap

mita launches its latest team-up sneaker this time working together with Reebok. The model of choice seen in the EX-O-FIT has seen a strong push from Reebok involving both inline and collaborative drops. This particular mita-designed sneaker features the use of green and red with white and gray accents. Available on October 24th at mita.
